Born August 7, 1943 in Sofia.
Graduated from the ‘N. Pavlovich’ National Art Academy in 1969, specializing in fine art under Prof. Nenko Balkanski.

AWARDS:
1980 1st prize for fine art, Union of Bulgarian Artists, Sofia;
1982 1st prize for illustration, Union of Bulgarian Artists, Sofia;
1984 Prize for critique of fine art, Union of Bulgarian Artists, Sofia;
1986 The Vladimir Dimitrov Maistora prize for fine art, Union of Bulgarian Artists, Sofia;
1987 1st prize for print at the International Biennale of Humour and Satire, Gabrovo;
1995 The 34-volume Macmillan Encyclopedia of World Art devotes an article to him;
1996 Grand Prix for fine art, Union of Bulgarian Artists, Sofia;
1996 Prize for fine art at the International Triennale of Fine Art, Sofia;
1998 Honorary award for his contribution to the development of Bulgarian culture from the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture;
2001 – St. St. Cyril and Methodius award at the XI International Print Biennale, Varna.
