Christo Kardjilov

Born in Sofia, September 10, 1952.
Graduated from the National Academy of Fine Art in Sofia in 1978, with a degree in book illustration and design.
Until 1982 worked mainly in the field of book illustration and design.
From 1982 to the present has been active mostly in the techniques of printmaking, watercolour, and drawing. Besides dry point, in which he is most prolific, he has also produced lithographic series.
Since 1984 has been active in Bulgarian art and culture both at home and abroad. He has taken part in almost all prestigious print biennials and triennals in Europe and throughout the world.
Many of his works are owned by public and private art galleries and collections in Bulgaria and abroad.
