[About  my  works]

The objet d’art called “B-cushion”,made of cloth,is like one of my selves, and I tie it,twist it,sometimes join it with another. To express strong but supple elements on the 3-dimensional plane of an objet d’art. I work through the medium of Lokta, a thick fibred handcrafted Nepalese paper and use the printing technique. It results in enhanced rough horizontal lines when it is printed and it gives a mysterious atmosphere to the work. The edges of the paper are left uncut to further express their texture and their uniqueness can be more fully appreciated. The cloth objet”B-cushion” used ti be one of my works called “Tied cushion”.It is possible to produce different shapes by tying and twisting them,so I’d like to find further new shapes and produce ambiguous yet profound works. I am happy to have a chance to give you the new series called “The Fruit ,Vegetable & Multi” These will stimulate your senses of sight, touch and taste.
